Note #28

It's unbelievable that I've called this small town "home" for over 36 years. When we first moved here, one of the first places I visited was the public library. This week's note is written to Ruth.

Dear Ruth,

I'll never forget my first visit to our local public library. You were working behind the desk, welcomed me to town, and told me I needed to meet your daughter. Every time I returned, you greeted me, often with reading recommendations, and always with a smile. Even though you're no longer behind the desk, I think of your dedication to the library and our community frequently. I also rarely purchase a book because I can check one out for free at the public library!

Happy Reading!
Jill
